₹2.5 Lac Per Startup Idea
The Government of Gujarat has developed Student Startup and Innovation Policy to foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the state. Parul University is the eligible institute in Gujarat for availing the benefits of this policy. This policy has been designed to provide support and assistance to individuals and groups who possess innovative ideas and concepts. This policy also provides financial support to students in the area of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Under this policy, students and startups can avail of grants up to 2.5 Lakhs for their ideas from the concept stage to the Proof of Concept (PoC) level.
₹50 Lac per Startup
Parul University is a recognized Nodal Institute for Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS). This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialization. This support enables the startups to graduate to a level where they will be able to raise investments from angel investors or venture capitalists or seek loans from commercial banks or financial institutions. Under this scheme the startup can avail funding Up to 20 Lakhs rupees in terms of Grants and up to 50 Lakhs rupees in terms of debt or debt linked instruments.
₹40 Lac per Startup
PIERC is one of the Nodal Institute for Scheme for assistance for Startups/ Innovation - Startup Gujarat. The key objective of the Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020 is to encourage R&D, start innovation and entrepreneurship. Hence, the new scheme is being introduced in order to support startups and innovation at different levels of a startup cycle. By these schemes startups can avail up to 30 lakhs rupees in terms of grant and up to 40 lakhs rupees can be availed if startup is working in social impact sector. Also, there is a component of sustenance alone for the startup founders.
